Lawton Church of the Nazarene is the result of a merger between Lawton First and Lawton Heights Nazarene in the summer of 2019. Two separate bodies uniting as one to be as effective as possible for the Kingdom of God.

Staff
David Gooding - Lead Pastor
In 1987, Pastor David was born in Garnett, Kansas. He has been married to his wife Amy since May of 2008. They have two children: Zachary and Noah. David graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Youth and Family Ministry from MidAmerica Nazarene University in May, 2010. Pastor David has served at Lawton Naz since 2018. Pastor David also served as the Pastor at Mount Vernon Nazarene Church for 6 years, and Joplin District Nazarene Youth International Council Secretary for 6 years. He has also previously served at the Global Ministries Center of the Church of the Nazarene in the Nazarene Youth International office. |
Kaylyn Davis - Children's Pastor
Pastor Kaylyn graduated from Southern Nazarene University with a children's ministry degree in May of 2014. In August 2015 she and Tad got married and they have one child: Owen. Kaylyn came on as the children's pastor September 2020, before that she served at The Fellowship Church of the Nazarene in Oklahoma City. |
